Hello! I’m Rachael, a doctoral student in Human Ecology – Design Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a licensed landscape architect. My academic and professional interests in design are diverse, spanning landscape architecture, architecture, interior design, fabrication, UI/UX design, signage design, and graphic design.
I am passionate about leveraging environmental design to enhance the lives of older adults. My research explores the cognitive demands and benefits that specific environments offer, with a particular focus on the impact of novel environments for older adults.
